Unicaja and Alberto Díaz, together until 2021

Unicaja Baloncesto and Alberto Diaz have signed a contract extension that will keep the playmaker at the club until the end of the 2020-21 season. Diaz (1.88 meters, 23 years old) was under contract until the end of next season, but this new deal will keep him with his boyhood club for three more years. He averaged 4.2 points and 2.1 assists in 22 7DAYS EuroCup games last season, but boosted his numbers to 7.3 points on 57.1% three-point shooting and 3.0 assists in the finals to lead Unicaja to the title – the club's first European trophy since 2001- and earn Finals MVP honors.
