Six Unicaja players in FIBA Window games

Next week, the first FIBA Window for qualification for the 2027 World Cup will be played, with six players from Unicaja's first team taking part. Alberto Díaz(Spain), Kendrick Perry (Montenegro), Chris Duarte (Dominican Rep.), Emir Sulejmanovic, Xavier Castañeda (both in Bosnia), and Killian Tillie (France) will be playing for their national teams. In addition, Paco Aurioles will be part of the Spanish national team's coaching staff, and Marcus Møller, a player for U22 Unicaja Alhaurín de la Torre, is among the 15 players called up by Denmark.

Alberto Díaz will go to the FIBA window with Spain

Chus Mateo announced this morning the call-up for the first FIBA World Cup qualifying window, which will be held in the last week of November. He has called up 14 players (plus two other guests), including Alberto Díaz, Unicaja's point guard. Joining him on the national team's coaching staff is Paco Aurioles, Ibon's assistant at Unicaja.

Unicaja knows its path to the Minicopa Endesa

Unicaja now knows its roadmap for the preliminary phase of the Minicopa Endesa Valencia 2025, in which 16 teams will compete in the Valencian capital from November 28-30 for one of the six spots to join Valencia Basket and Barça in the tournament's final phase. The team is in Group B along with Cajasiete Fundación CB Canarias, Bilbao Basket, and MoraBanc Andorra Undercoverlab.

Show of character in Zaragoza (79-86)

Unicaja secured a resounding victory in their visit to Casademont Zaragoza (79-86). The team overcame a strong performance from the home side and the late-game injuries to Tyson Pérez and Olek Balcerowski to stage a comeback in the final quarter and clinch the win. Kalinoski was decisive tonight (17 points, 6 rebounds, 6 assists, 22 PIR).
