(62-61) Unicaja Alhaurín de la Torre leaves the Joan Gamper Trophy empty-handed

A brave and competitive Unicaja Alhaurín de la Torre came close to victory at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper against Barça Atlètic, in a very evenly matched game marked by a delayed start due to a malfunctioning buzzer, an action that left Arturas Butajevas bleeding, and a controversial final block that denied victory to the Malaga team (62-61).

Unicaja Mijas is back in action

Unicaja Mijas returns to competition two weeks later, playing at home this Saturday (5:30 p.m., broadcast on ⇒Canal FEB) against Melilla Ciudad del Deporte La Salle. The Malaga team will be looking for revenge after losing to Melilla in the II Memorial Javier Imbroda tournament in September. Los Guindos will once again be key for a team that is boosted by its victory against Recoletas Zamora, and the fans will be the sixth player on the court. Buy your ticket HERE.

Chase Audige: “I'm excited to be joining such a prestigious club.”

Unicaja's new signing, Chase Audige, was presented today at the Martín Carpena. The shooting guard made no secret of his excitement, admitting that he is “thrilled to be part of a club with the prestige and culture of Unicaja.” The new addition to Ibon Navarro's squad is delighted with his first few days on the Costa del Sol: “It's a very beautiful city with a much better climate than where I come from,” he explained.

Catalan double on the Immaculate Conception long weekend

This Friday and Saturday, Unicaja Alhaurín de la Torre faces two consecutive matches in Catalonia. The first will be against Barça Atlètic, the group leader, on Friday 5 at 4:00 p.m.; and the second, on Saturday at the same time, against Joventut Badalona, sixth in the standings and just one victory behind the Malaga team. Both games, corresponding to matchdays 9 and 10 of the Liga U, will be played away from home and can be followed on the competition's YouTube channel.

Back in action on the challenging court of Hiopos Lleida

Unicaja returns to competition on Saturday on the difficult court of Hiopos Lleida (7:00 PM, broadcasted by DAZN and Unicaja Baloncesto Radio, live from Le Grand Café Centro). It will also be a reunion with a familiar face, Melvin Ejim.
