Unicaja advances to the BCL quarterfinals

Unicaja secured their place in the BCL quarterfinals after defeating Elan Chalon 70-80 on the road and capitalizing on Asisa Joventut's victory over Fitness Energy Würzburg Baskets in the other group game. This means the team will be in the BCL Final Four semifinals for the fifth consecutive season, though they had to overcome a determined French side that made them work hard for the win in the final minutes. Nihad Djedovic was the standout player (18 points, 3 rebounds, 3 steals, 20 PIR).

A heated duel in Chalon

Unicaja travels to France to face Elan Chalon this Tuesday, March 10 (8:30 p.m., broadcasted by Teledeporte and Unicaja Baloncesto Radio, live from Le Grand Café Centro). The team is aiming for a victory that would take a giant step towards qualifying for the BCL quarterfinals against an opponent with whom they are tied in the group.

Unicaja prepares for its Copa Campeones debut

Unicaja will play its second round of the Copa Campeones from March 13th to 15th at the Nou Congost in Manresa, facing CB Sierra Nevada Natura Ability Granada, UCAM Murcia CB, CB Casademont Zaragoza, Fundación Bàsquet Girona and BAXI Manresa. Good luck!

Hard-fought victory at Fontajau (83-90)

Unicaja secured a hard-fought victory on the road against Bàsquet Girona, 83-90. Despite controlling the game for much of the game, the team had to withstand several comeback attempts from the home team to clinch this important win. James Webb III was the game's MVP (18 points, 7 rebounds, 3 assists, 20 PIR).
