Unicaja Mijas holds out in Barcelona (76-79)

Unicaja Mijas conquered the Pavelló Virolai in a demanding match against MCR Lima-Horta Barcelona, who confirmed their great form. The Malaga team knew how to handle an uncomfortable game, with changing pace and a tight score, to add their eighteenth victory of the season. Tayra Eke had a decisive performance with 24 points, 10 rebounds, and 34 valuation credits.

Honorable defeat in the Endesa Mini Cup (79-83)

The Unicaja boys' team came close to fifth place in the 2026 Minicopa Endesa held in Valencia, but ended up losing to Cajasiete Canarias in a thrilling match that was decided in the final seconds (79-83). The players coached by Manolo Bazán showed character and competitiveness to counteract the physical superiority of the Tenerife team. On this occasion, the team's opponent will be MCR Lima-Horta Barcelona, which is on a winning streak that allows it to return fully to the fight to enter the LF Challenge playoffs.

The team was overwhelmed from the first quarter by Real Madrid's dominance and couldn't find a way to impose their game, thus saying goodbye to the competition.
