The dates and times for the Basketball Champions League (BCL) Regular Season were announced this Monday. Unicaja, placed in Group E, will begin its European campaign this coming season on October 7 with an away game in Lithuania against Juventus Utena (7:00 p.m.). Their home debut will be on November 3 at 8:30 p.m. against Italy’s Pallacanestro Reggiana. Unicaja’s final game of the regular season will be on Wednesday, December 23, at Carpena against Juventus Utena.
 

Unicaja Mijas now knows its path for the 2026-27 season. The FEB has released the schedule for the LF Challenge, the division in which the Málaga-based team will once again compete with the goal of continuing to establish itself among the top teams in the second division of Spanish women’s basketball. The team will kick off the season on Saturday, October 3, with an away game against Domusa Teknik ISB, and will host Club Joventut Badalona a week later at the José María Martín Urbano Arena.

Unicaja Mijas has signed Tenerife-born point guard Sofía Afonso (1.65 meters, 24 years old) for the upcoming 2026-27 season. She comes from Picken Claret, where she has established herself as one of the best point guards in Liga Femenina 2.

The Azulmarino New Travel Women’s Andalusia Cup 2026 will tip off on September 19 and 20 in Estepona, bringing together three of the leading teams in Andalusian women’s basketball for a tournament that will serve as a demanding preparatory test ahead of the start of the official season. Unicaja Mijas will face CB Sevilla on Saturday, September 19.

Unicaja Mijas has signed French guard Faustine Parra (1.65 meters, 25 years old) for the upcoming season. The player, who comes from Osés Construcción Ardoi, has experience in the Liga Femenina Endesa and in top-level European competitions.
